When I was doing some research where to have the best gyro in Santorini, Lucky’s Souvlakis was the first option pointed by internet reviewers. Of course, I added it to my list and was super excited to try it out. But the truth is that this is not as good as people say on the internet…
My order
Both of us ordered the same thing:
- Pork gyro – served with hot chips, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, and tzatziki sauce.

I found their pita bread extremely oily, like with a taste of old oil. The meat was super dry and there was nothing special about this gyro at all.
Maybe I got them on a bad day, or people like it because it is extremely cheap compared to other places on the island. Anyways I don’t think it’s worth to save only a few cents and have something with this quality…
