Salt & Pepper • Santorini

Salt & Pepper was one of those times when you decide to take the risk and is happy with the result. This little gem is located on a busy street in the suburb of Thera in Santorini. The place seems to be run by a family, food is awesome and the service perfect!

My order

We had just arrived in Santorini and were starving which was perfect to try a few dishes of their menu:

  • Grilled Halloumi with tomato marmalade
  • Santorini salad – Cherry tomaotes, cucumber, chloro (local white cheese), caper leaves, olives, onion, parsley, and olive oil.
  • Bread for two.
  • Pork souvlaki with pita bread and tzatziki sauce.
  • Free dessert – looks like a chocolate mousse.

Everything was on point! Hands down to that grilled Haloumi with tomato marmalade, what a perfect combination!

Also, many thanks for the free dessert. Ah, those Greeks know how to take a smile from a foodie’s face. 🙂
