In case you are a Game of Thrones fan like me and decided to take a day trip to visit Girona, Konig 2 is a great place to have some tapas, coffee, and rest before exploring the city a bit more.
My order
I really love this Spanish tapa thing, you get to try a bit of everything without getting extremely full. For that day we decided to go with the following:
- Hubby: Frankfurt, brie and caramelized onion and Premium 1973 burger – hamburger, goat cheese, baby tomatoes, parmesan cheese, and “pitta” sauce.
- Mine: Saute vegetables, chicken breast, and serrano ham.
- To share: Red Sausages Brochettes and Orange and cinnamon cappuccino.
In overall food was good and tasty. Prices are fair and you get to eat and rest in a very nice environment. I believe it’s ideal for those that are not super hungry but need a little something to recover the energy for the rest of the day.
The verdict
It’s definitely a nice place for a snack, quick meals and a coffee. Super well localized, you can easily reach this place while strolling through the city.
