Shawa Grill is the newest Lebanese restaurant at Westfield Miranda and already has a spot in my heart. ❤️

They offer an amazing menu, full of yummy options such as plates, rolls, dips, and traditional Lebanese desserts.

For anyone looking for low carb options, you can also find breadless choices, like baba ghanoush or hummus topped with a meat of your choice.

My order

As it was our first time there, we decided to stick to the classical options and these were our choices:

• Mine: Shawa plate meal – chicken shawarma, hummus, baba ghanoush, toum (garlic sauce), tabbouleh salad & chips.
• Hubby: Shawa roll meal – lamb shawarma, hummus, baba ghanoush, toum (garlic sauce), tabbouleh salad & chips.
• Dessert to share: Knafeh – Lebanese style cheesecake.

Everything was spot on! Super delicious and generous portions.

I only wish they had an option to replace those hot chips with something else.

Hubby was more than happy eating all of them, but I would prefer having some extra salad, but I was told it wasn’t possible.

Now, what about the dessert, you may be asking!
It was my first time trying Knafeh, and I already can say is one of my favourites.

It’s literally melted cheese, topped with semolina, pistachio, and sugar syrup.
I understand that it might not be to everyone’s taste, but please trust me and give it a try.

Location-wise it couldn’t be any easier, just get the train (T4 line) bound to Cronulla and alight at Miranda station.
Boom! You have arrived at the shopping centre, now head to the upper area where most of the restaurants are located and you’ll easily find it. 🙂
