This cake is absolutely beautiful. Imagine that, you can impress everybody with your cooking skills, plus serve a delicious, healthy, #sugarfree and #glutenfree upside down apple cake.
You know, we need to make food that is good for our body and pretty enough for our eyes. 😀
Ingredients
- Apple topping
- 50g of butter
- 2 sliced apples
- 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon of raw honey (optional)
- Cake
- 1/2 cup of almond flour
- 2 tablespoons of coconut flour
- 1 tablespoon of psyllium
- 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
- A pinch of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 75g of butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1 cup of yogurt
Directions
- Apple topping
- Get 50g of butter and break it into small pieces. Place them in a cake pan.
- Also add two sliced apples, placing them into the cake pan in a pretty way (check on the video how Handy did it).
- Next add over them, one tablespoon of cinnamon and finish with one tablespoon of honey.
- Reserve the apples for later.
- Cake time
- Mix together all dry ingredients. Reserve.
- Then, using your stand mixer, add 75 grams of butter and beat it until the butter gets fluffy.
- Next add eggs, lemon juice and yogurt.
- Stop your stand mixer and, using a spatula, fold it into the dry mixture.
- Pour the batter on the apple topping.
- Bake it for 35 minutes in a preheated oven to 160C (320F).
- Wait a few minutes before removing it from the cake pan.
- Enjoy it. 🙂
